British morning show guest says antidepressants caused her to hallucinate about killing her children
‘Some people are quick to dismiss the very real and disturbing statistics that paint antidepressants in an unflattering light, but it is important to keep in mind that every case of things going terribly wrong for someone who takes these drugs can have far-reaching effects not only on the person taking them but also the people in his or her life. This point was driven home by Katinka Blackford Newman in her recent appearance ITV’s This Morning.
Newman told the hosts of the morning show that she reacted so badly to her antidepressants that she became aggressive and suffered from hallucinations and even psychosis. What happened to her might only happen in one out of every 100 to 1,000 cases, but that’s far too many when an entire family’s well-being is at stake.’
