Financial Panic and War Cries Across Europe — Only a “Superior Shift” Can Re-Direct History
NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg, speaking on America’s Independence Day from Brussels, renewed his insane war-cry against Russia, bragging that NATO has implemented the biggest mobilization of military forces since the Cold War, but arguing that this is not enough. “We now need to take the next steps,” he said, saying the NATO Summit in Warsaw this week will “further enhance our military presence in the eastern part of the Alliance” — i.e., on Russia’s border.
Poland’s Defense Minister, Antoni Macierewicz, went further, fantasizing to AP that the new NATO deployments will be the “end of fear” in Eastern Europe. “Only a show of real readiness to defend our borders can effectively halt Russia’s aggressive intentions,” he said, adding: “Russia must forget about threatening Poland, the European countries and other countries in the world.” Even while NATO is deploying NATO troops, tanks, military aircraft, warships, and missile systems all along Russia’s border, crazy Macierewicz accused Russia of “an increase in the intensity of Russia’s aggression in recent days,” pointing to Russia moving forces around within its own border!
There are increasing signs of sanity in Europe, however, in resisting the war policy against Russia and China, as well as the economic destruction of the European economies. Gen. Harold Kujat, the former head of the German armed forces, said in an interview today that he fully supported German Foreign Minister Frank Steinmeier’s denunciation of “NATO sword rattling” against Russia. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is travelling in China, further strengthening the “Silk Road” connections between Europe and China. Even Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi is showing some resistence, unwilling to give in to the EU demand that Italy force “bail-in” on their endangered banks. Renzi is reported to be demanding the right to recapitalize the banks with federal funds rather than shut them down or steal the depositors and bond holders money through bail-in to pay off the derivative gamblers.
Lyndon LaRouche responded today that these steps, and others like them, are correct and necessary, but not adequate. None of them will work, he said, unless a “superior shift” is implemented from above. Every individual effort to stop the financial panic now sweeping Europe, and soon the US, or to stop the mad killer Obama’s war drive, will be inadequate without such a “superior shift” to a new paradigm. This shift must be based on Glass Steagall bank reorganization to shut down the “too big to fail” banks and restore productive credit, collaboration with China’s New Silk Road process and Vladimir Putin’s “Great Eurasia Project,” and, most important, a mobilization of our citizens — especially our youth — to beauty, through a restoration of classical music and culture.
LaRouche has warned that the NATO war mobilization is a bluff – although a very dangerous one. Today, Russian analyst Dmitry Yevstafiev, writing in Izvestia, echoed LaRouche’s warning. Yevstafiev notes that the massive NATO exercises on Russia’s border are actually a “cover operation,” for a first-strike attack by strategic forces. To think Russia would allow the kind of systemic build up on its borders, he said, such as that Hitler did before his Operation Barbarossa invasion of the Soviet Union, would be to believe Russia’s leaders to be imbeciles. The fact is, he added, NATO no longer has the ability to support such a conventional war, and is covering the gap with propaganda. But, this “provokes a growth in demand” for war. Like Japan at Pearl Harbor, he concluded, such a weak state may attack first, “hoping to gain an advantage.”
Awakening the creative spark of humanity in the western nations, beaten down by the perpetual wars, economic crisis and cultural degeneration, is the necessary prerequisite to ending this danger, and moving humanity to the new paradigm now being generated from China, Russia and India, representing the majority of the human race and the moral leadership of the world.
