Mexican police discover up to eight corpses in unmarked graves

‘Mexican authorities have found as many as eight mutilated bodies in seven unmarked graves in the central state of Zacatecas, notorious for deadly violence by drug cartels.
The officials said Friday that the bodies were found while police officers were conducting an intelligence operation in the region, saying drug cartels may be behind the killings.
“While authorities were conducting their search, they found bodies that had been mutilated, decapitated and dismembered,” said state Attorney General Leticia Soto Acosta.’
