The U.S. Continues Unquestioned Support of Saudi Arabia Despite Mounting War Crimes

‘The prominent NGO Human Rights Watch has uncovered further evidence that the Saudi-led military coalition, which is backed by the United States, is guilty of systematic and widespread war crimes against the people of Yemen, where it has been waging a military campaign for nearly 16 months.
Seventeen “apparently unlawful” airstrikes have hit “13 civilian economic cites, including factories, commercial warehouses, a farm and two power facilities,” HRW concluded in a report released on Sunday. “These strikes killed 130 civilians and injured 171 more. Collectively, the facilities employed over 2,500 people; following the attacks, many of the factories ended their production and hundreds of workers lost their livelihoods.”’
