Israeli forces shoot, injure Palestinian man in West Bank
‘Israeli military forces have shot and injured a Palestinian man after he allegedly stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier near an illegal settlement in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli media reported that the incident occurred at around 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT) on Sunday near the entrance to Efrat settlement, located 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) south of Jerusalem al-Quds.
The reports said a Palestinian man, believed to be nearly 30 years old, stabbed a 22-year-old Israeli trooper “near the armpit.”’
