US spy plane hit over Syria’s Dayr al-Zawr province

‘Syrian government forces say they have targeted a US air force reconnaissance drone over the war-torn country’s eastern regions.
The spy craft was hit on Sunday in the country’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr, where a US-led coalition attack killed dozens of Syrian soldiers a day earlier.
Syrian troops also managed to wrest control over most of Daesh positions on the mountainous Jabal Therdeh area on Sunday after the US airstrikes near Dayr al-Zawr airbase gave the extremists the chance to overrun the areas.’
