‘Hard Brexit’ could cost Government £66billion a year, Treasury warns

‘In a Cabinet paper leaked to The Times, officials stand by its pre-referendum analysis about the potential damage of Brexit to Britain’s economy.
The assessment has led pro-EU campaigners to describe the prospect of a so-called ‘hard Brexit’ as “horrific”.
At last week’s Conservative conference, Theresa May declared that regaining control over immigration and ending the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice were two of her priorities for the upcoming negotiations with the EU on the UK’s departure.’
