Former US official gets 20 years in prison for child pornography

‘A former official with the US intelligence agency has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for producing child pornography.
The District Court in the US state of Virginia made the ruling on Tuesday, convicting Army Lieutenant Colonel Steven Frederiksen of luring six girls, aged between 14 and 17, into producing indecent photos and videos through social media on his government laptop.
The 42-year-old former official with the Defense Intelligence Agency was sentenced to 240 months in jail following his guilty plea in August to one count of producing child pornography and one count of attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.’
