The US, France, and their unipolar allies want to retain Africa as their exclusive labor, market, and resource reserve for the foreseeable future, both out of their own material self-interest and with the added strategic benefit of depriving China and others of its economic fruits. Contrarily, China wants to integrate the world’sfastest growing economies and populations into the unfolding multipolar world order and give them a fair chance at succeeding in the global system. ‘
