Romania sentences Israeli over spying on and harassing anti-corruption chief
‘Romania has sentenced an Israeli for spying on and harassing the country’s anti-corruption chief.
On Wednesday, David Geclowicz received a suspended jail term of two years and eight months plus 80 days of community service for targeting people close to the head of Romania’s National Anti-corruption Directorate, Laura Kovesi.
Geclowicz is a member an Israeli private spy agency, Black Cube, which refers to itself as a “select group of veterans from the Israeli elite intelligence units,” and lists the former Mossad director, Meir Dagan, who died earlier this year, as its honorary president.’
