What To Expect In The Lame Duck: Increased Defense Spending

Nobel Peace Prize winner President Obama may conclude his time in office by increasing defense spending by $6 billion dollars to fight the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (didn’t the peace president end those wars?).

The Pentagon requested that amount in “emergency” spending last week, and are hoping President Obama will submit it to Congress after the election so it can be included in the Omnibus spending bill. Campaign for Liberty members should call their Representatives and Senators and tell them to oppose any spending increases in the lame duck.
