Murdering 500K Iraqi Kids Was Her Warm-Up
Of all the Clinton-era monsters who refuse to crawl under a rock and die, Madeleine Albright continues to distinguish herself as a monument to shameless hubris.
As you might recall, the former secretary of state made an eloquent, compelling case for Hillary Clinton during the Democratic primaries: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!” And television pundits still can’t wrap their heads around Clinton’s spectacular defeat. Go figure.
Albright is also famous for championing the Clinton administration’s decision to prevent Iraq from importing basic supplies like medicine and water purification equipment, which led to the death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians, including around 500,000 Iraqi children – something Albright said was “worth it.”
Why are the most advertised Gold and Silver coins NOT the best way to invest?
But killing 500,000 Iraqi children didn’t get Albright’s nipples hard enough. On to Syria! As Reuters reports:
The United States should prepare to use greater military power and covert action in Syria to help forge a political settlement to end the country’s civil war, according to a bipartisan report to be released on Wednesday.
Produced by a task force led by former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, a Democrat, and former U.S. National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley, a Republican, the report amounts to a bipartisan rejection of President Barack Obama’s decision to limit U.S. military engagement in the nearly six-year civil war.
See? Direct U.S. intervention in Syria is a very reasonable, “bipartisan” idea, endorsed by two very reasonable, thoughtful people.
Allow us to remind our dear readers that the “moderate rebels” in Syria are on the run. Even mainstream, western news outlets are now preparing their readership for Assad’s seemingly inevitable victory.
What a perfect time for a monster like Madeleine Albright to put forward a “bipartisan” plan to raise the stakes in Syria, which aside from prolonging a pointless, illegal war, would also risk direct confrontation with Russia.
A winning plan, from a real winner. Just ask those 500,000 Iraqi children. “It’s worth it!”
