‘The situation with human rights in Ukraine remains close to catastrophic, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Commissioner for Human Rights, Democracy and Supremacy of Law Konstantin Dolgov said.
Making a speech at the Federation Council’s session on constitutional legislature and state building, Dolgov said, “The situation with human rights in this country (Ukraine) remains catastrophic. Many problems persist, in particular, the economic blockade of Donbass, hundreds of thousands of internally displaced persons, media censorship, xenophobia and neo-Nazism, bullying and persecution of unfavorable politicians, aggressive actions against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.”‘
