What Everyone Is Missing About Trump Being Named Time’s ‘Person of the Year’

‘TIME Magazine announced president-elect Donald Trump as Person of the Year Wednesday morning, continuing ‘an every-four-years tradition of giving that title to the President-elect.’ Social media users were quick to point out some less than savory Persons of the Year from the past, including Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Vladimir Putin.
The TIME designation is not exactly flattering to the president-elect. Neither is the follow-up article published shortly after, which further explains, ‘TIME’s Person of the Year is the individual who has had the most influence on the world, for good or for ill.”
