What Victory Requires

*Please note: LaRouchePAC will update the Lead later today amidst the rapidly developing strategic picture.

The events of today and the coming days—the summit between Presidents Trump and Xi which is proceeding as we write this, to be followed in less than a week by Secretary of State Tillerson’s trip to Moscow to meet President Putin—embody the potential for which we have worked for many years. The potential is offered for humanity to enter a new epoch, unlike anything ever before seen. The brightest mid-day compared with the darkness of the 20th Century and the 21st Century to date.

What is demanded of us now, as never before, is singleness of concentration on our one, unique goal to the exclusion of all else. There are so many out there who are determined to distract us—but now we will be passing through some critical seconds, where any failure of concentration could destroy our whole effort almost instantly.

Now we must learn the lesson of those of us who have been successfully organizing in the New York subway system, through the deafening roar of the trains and the screaming of hysterics determined to distract and sabotage us. This is the lesson of the integrated, precision-trained team of astronauts and Mission Control who made the first manned landing on the Moon in 1969, as computer alarms sounded, with only seconds of fuel remaining.

Helga Zepp-LaRouche illustrated exactly this quality in her interview with Sputnik News yesterday, amazing her interviewer.

Amidst the tawdriness and lies of the New York Times today, China’s official news agency Xinhua took out a full-page advertisement which was probably the only actual news in the paper, under the headline, “First Xi-Trump Meeting Vitally Important in Every Way.” In the same way, Lyndon LaRouche’s friend Jacques Cheminade stood out from ten failed French Presidential candidates on national French television last night.
