Europe raises Britain’s Brexit bill to £92billion with demand to pay for EU farms even AFTER we leave – as Brussels warns ‘bloody difficult’ May will be BANNED from negotiations
‘Theresa May will be banned from sitting in on Brexit talks – as the EU has upped Britain’s divorce bill to £92billion by seeking farm payments for two years after the process formally ends.
It follows the Prime Minister’s promise to be ‘bloody difficult’ in the negotiations, as tensions between the two sides continue to be strained.
She will now only be allowed to discuss terms with the European Commision’s top negotiator, Michel Barnier, but not other heads of state, according to The Times.
Mrs May had previously stated that she wanted to sit down with ‘presidents, prime ministers and chancellors of Europe…
…And, in a highly controversial move, Brussels will demand a payment that could reach an incredible £92billion – more than £30billion than had previously been expected.
The decision to significantly inflate the opening demand will infuriate Eurosceptic Tories who were already furious at the prospect of paying a smaller bill.’
