Gunman killed by police after injuring eight in San Diego poolside shooting

‘Up to 8 people have reportedly been shot after a man opened fire near a swimming pool at an apartment complex in San Diego, California, local media report. Police confronted and shot the suspect dead. The gunman was trying to reload his gun when shot by police.
The incident happened 6.10pm local time at the La Jolla Crossroads Apartments in La Jolla, California, when a white male wearing brown shorts and armed with a gun started shooting those at the pool.
According to witness reports, the man was holding a beer in one hand and brandishing a gun in the other when he opened fire.’
