Jeremy Corbyn OVERTAKES Theresa May as voters’ favourite to be best Prime Minister in new poll
‘Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has overtaken Theresa May as the public’s choice for Prime Minister for the first time.
A YouGov poll for The Times showed 35 per cent said that they would prefer Mr Corbyn to be leading the country.
Mrs May trailed by a narrow margin, at 34 per cent.
It is the first time in a decade that a Labour leader has been in front of their Conservative counterpart for that particular question.
The PM’s favourability in the poll has plummeted since her decision to call a snap election backfired.’
