WikiLeaks Outs Senior Member of French President’s Party for Ordering Club Drugs

‘A new batch of emails published by the whistleblowing website WikiLeaks contains an interesting curiousity, showing what looks like a series of purchases of an illegal drug with properties similar to those of amphetamines by a senior member of French President Emmanuel Macron’s En Marche! party.
On Monday, WikiLeaks released an archive of nearly 72,000 emails from President Francois Macron’s election campaign, including 21,075 DKIM verified emails, and almost 51,000 others which the whistleblower said could be expected to be authentic as well, based on statistical sampling.
Among the unverified communications is an interesting batch of 32 emails, detailing four transactions ostensibly involving French politician Alain Tourret and the purchase of 3-Methylmethcathinone, a chemical substance which the World Health Organization describes as a habit-forming stimulant and empathogen with “properties similar to amphetamines.” The drug, also known as 3-MMC, has been listed as a controlled substance in France since 2010.’
