This Time, Make the Swindling Bankers, Not the People, Pay for Their Corruption

The Pecora Commission in 1932-33 exposed the corrupt practices of leading bankers, which led to the 1929 Crash and the Great Depression. Its documentation of bankster fraud aided the passage of Glass Steagall bank regulation, which was repealed in 1999, leading to the Crash of 2008 and 2019. It is time to re-enact Glass Steagall bank regulation, instead of giving the fraudsters an endless bailout, to pile more worthless debt on our collapsed economy.
