It’s ‘Super Saturday for the rest of the UK as lockdown starts to lift, but for Leicester and parts of the neighbouring county a new set of rules has come into force.
The Government has now published its local lockdown rules for Leicester, with most businesses legally forced to shut their doors once again
The new regulations, which were published on Friday afternoon, come into force today, when pubs, restaurants and hairdressers can open in the rest of England.
Anyone who breaks the rules in Leicester could be fined £100, which doubles every time they flout the new law, and could reach up to £3,200 for the sixth and subsequent offences.
