Steele Dossier Demolished; Rep. Devin Nunes Ups the Ante

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday evening, delivered what should be the last major blow to any idea that the British intelligence hoax, known as the Christopher Steele dossier about Donald Trump and Russia, was anything other than a complete fabrication. The July 17th release is the declassified transcript of the FBI’s interview of MI-6 Agent Christopher Steele’s primary source for his disgusting dirty dossier about Donald Trump and Russia. That interview occurred in January of 2017. It confirms what LaRouche PAC and EIR have argued for some time: the Steele dossier was a completely made-up British intelligence hoax laundered into the United States by the Obama Administration to destroy Donald Trump and any prospect for sane relations with Russia.

Despite its falsity, obvious upon a simple reading by anyone familiar with actual intelligence reports, Steele’s monstrous fantasy novella was vouched for by the leading lights of British intelligence, Sir Richard Dearlove, Sir Andrew Wood, and Sir John Sawers. Steele and his intelligence community sponsors are now behind a campaign in the UK against China, with Steele publishing a dossier, in conjunction with his partner in crime, former British Foreign Office operative Arthur Snell, who is now the managing director of Steele’s firm, Orbis Political Intelligence. The 86 page diatribe is entitled, China’s Capture of the Elite, and slams various British public figures as Chinese pawns.

Here is what Senator Lindsay Graham said about the FBI’s January, 2017 interview of Steele’s main source:

• This document not only demonstrates how unsubstantiated and unreliable the Steele dossier was, it shows that the FBI was on notice of the dossier’s credibility problems and sought two more FISA application renewals after gaining this awareness.

• The document reveals that the primary “source” of Steele’s election reporting was not some well-connected current or former Russian official, but a non-Russian based contract employee of Christopher Steele’s firm. Moreover, it demonstrates that the information that Steele’s primary source provided him was second and third-hand information and rumor at best.

• Critically, the document shows that Steele’s “Primary Sub-source” disagreed with and was surprised by how information he gave Steele was then conveyed by Steele in the Steele dossier. For instance, the “Primary Sub-source”: did not recall or did not know where some of the information attributed to him or his sources came from; was never told about or never mentioned to Steele certain information attributed to him or his sources; he said that Steele re-characterized some of the information to make it more substantiated and less attenuated than it really was; that he would have described his sources differently; and, that Steele implied direct access to information where the access to information was indirect.

In total, this document demonstrates that information from the Steele dossier, which “played a central and essential role” in the FISA warrants on Carter Page, should never have been presented to the FISA court. (See Senate Judiciary Committee Communication PDF)

In appearances on Hannity July 17th, Representative Devin Nunes and reporter John Solomon both emphasized that now is the time for indictments. Nunes notes that the minority on the House Intelligence Committee has made 14 criminal referrals already to the Department of Justice and has another investigation ongoing. Nunes also said that the FBI and CIA are blocking an essential party of the Christopher Steele hoax story. According to Nunes, Christopher Steele relied on two actual Russians who Steele did not actually know. The FBI and CIA are still concealing the identities of these two individuals, despite numerous requests from the House Intelligence Committee staff.

So, what we know from this episode is that the FBI proceeded to spy on the Trump campaign via the Carter Page FISAs knowing that the backbone to the FISA warrants was almost certainly a fabrication. We also know that the DOJ, through Rod Rosenstein, appointed Robert Mueller to continue this charade for over two years, based on what was a clear British fabrication which Mueller and his minions knew was a fabrication. This is most graphically illustrated by the firing and continued persecution of Lt. General Michael Flynn, which was directed from the Oval Office itself.

Flynn’s attorneys have documents showing the planning of this escapade in the Oval Office on January 5, 2017, which included President Obama and Joe Biden. Flynn, a seasoned intelligence operative would almost certainly have discovered all of this illegality and needed to be removed by any means necessary, including the laughable resort to the two hundred year old dead statute known as the Logan Act. The plan to fire and prosecute Flynn was also hatched after the FBI had concluded, again and also in January of 2017, that Flynn was not guilty of any wrongdoing whatsoever.
