Wearing a face mask could reduce your risk of catching Covid-19 by 65%.

A study conducted by the University of California Davis Children’s Hospital has found that covering your nose and mouth significantly decreased the chance of infection.

It was previously believed that wearing a mask would only prevent a sick person transmitting the virus to others.

There are two main ways in which Covid-19 spreads – through small droplets in the air expelled when someone coughs or sneezes or via aerosol particles when people speaking.
