Undoing the Damage of Russiagate
The July 2018 summit between Presidents Trump and Putin had the potential to overcome the damage done to U.S.-Russian relations by the reckless actions of G.W. Bush and Barack Obama. Instead, the media and virtually every elected official and institutional figure in the U.S. denounced Trump for not forcefully confronting Putin over charges of Russian interference in the U.S. election, with key Russiagate fabricator John Brennan calling Trump’s actions “treasonous”. But now, we know who told the truth—Trump and Putin—and who lied and slandered—virtually everyone else. Getting the truth out about the disastrous consequences of the Russiagate fraud is essential to move forward to a new era of peace and cooperation, signaled by Trump’s comments Tuesday about the two nations moving towards a new nuclear arms pact.
