In reviewing the Syria bombing ordered by President Donald J. Trump Thursday, Lyndon and Helga LaRouche condemned it in the strongest terms possible. President Trump received a fraudulent briefing on the event itself—asserting that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for a chemical weapons attack on his own population – despite the fact that U.S. military forces on the ground in Syria knew that the chemicals came from an Al-Qaeda base, as stated by Russia and Syria. President Trump was lied to by individuals in his national security/intelligence chain of command. The sources utilized to claim Syrian culpability for the attack are exclusively British, the same people who are coordinating the international attack on Trump’s Presidency, in an effort to destroy any positive potential for relationships with Russia and China to rebuild the U.S. and world economy. This was a violation of international law. Trump was setup. “The British set this in motion against the entire human race,” Lyndon LaRouche emphasized.

LaRouche said the Trump must immediately seek out those responsible for the fraud and fire them. A war crimes prosecution would be appropriate. The President should never listen to the British. It is not accidental that this setup occurred right when the President was meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping—a meeting which has the British and their Wall Street allies completely apoplectic—a meeting which could portend a new and peaceful paradigm for economic and scientific progress.

LaRouchePAC is coordinating a national mobilization against this fraud, telling the President to fire those responsible, and return to the sound American system premises of his Presidency, not the World War III policies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Nothing less than the continued viability of his presidency is at stake.

According to numerous intelligence community sources who have commented or who have been interviewed by LaRouchePAC, active duty U.S. forces on the ground in Syria knew that this was not a Syrian government chemical attack. The Syrians hit an Al-Qaeda base which was storing chemical weapons used by the terrorists. U.S. forces on the ground reported that it was not a Syrian chemical weapons attack up the chain of command. The United States had been notified of the Syrian mission before it took place and knew about the Syrian targeting. Someone either deliberately lied to the President about this information or kept it from him.

The on the ground intelligence purporting to document a chemical weapons attack by the Syrian Air Force came from the White Helmets group, created by the British, financed by the British Defense Ministry, and totally penetrated by and supporting ISIS and Al Nusra terrorists. The other cited “proof” comes from the Syrian Human Rights Observatory which consists of a single individual, residing in London, who is notorious for widely disseminating inaccurate information.

The President needs to hear from those who voted for him and other patriots who are not interested in World War III or perpetual war in the Middle East. The swamp which needs draining is the Wall Street/London/Washington D.C. neo-conservative, liberal interventionist swamp which has squandered the nation’s wealth and involved our youth in fraudulent wars destroying the morale of an entire generation. Mr. President, find, fire, and prosecute those responsible for this.

In a March 31 interview with Xinhua News Agency, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao announced that President Trump would roll out his infrastructure program in the third quarter of this year.

“We are working on the outlines and possible details of the infrastructure initiative. A package will be coming out later … in the next several months,” she added, without further elaboration. She also indicated that there would be a possibility for foreign companies to become involved in the project.

However, according to The Hill, Chao briefed 45 legislators on the program today, and in an address to 52 business leaders at the White House yesterday, she indicated that legislation could be ready as soon as May. Speaking at the same meeting, President Trump said that the package will be very large and will focus on projects that can get underway soon, Bondbuyers.com reported Wednesday.

“So we have to build roads. We have to build highways. We’re talking about a very major infrastructure bill of a trillion dollars, perhaps more,” he said. “We’re going to be very strong that it has to be spent on shovels and not on other programs. If you have a job that you can’t start within 90 days, wwe’re not going to give you the money for it.” Gary Cohn, director of the White House National Economic Council, said that Trump’s infrastructure program covers a wide variety of projects. “We’ve taken the broadest possible interpretation of infrastructure.”

Chao told Xinhua that the United States “could certainly learn from other countries,” adding that “there are [infrastructure] technologies and skill sets that we don’t possess in the United States.” President Trump has repeatedly praised the up-to-date infrastructure facilities in places like Dubai, Qatar, and China. However, Chao said that whether foreign companies would be allowed to participate in Trump’s new infrastructure programs is still a “subject of discussion right now.” Even if they are granted access, she added, foreign companies also need to change their old way of doing business in the United States.

At yesterday’s emergency session of the UN Security Council, called by the U.S., the UK, and France to debate their resolution blaming Syria for the April 4 chemical weapons attack in Idlib, the British UN ambassador Peter Wilson tried to set the tone for the discussion with a raving attack on Russia and China which, he said, had “encouraged” Syrian President al-Assad to kill his own people, by vetoing previous anti-Syria resolutions.

The foolish U.S. ambassador, Nikki Haley, echoed the British rant with her own wild accusations against Russia for supporting the “illegitimate” and “barbaric” Assad regime and blocking the Security Council’s work.

Russia and China hit back—hard—while Bolivian UN Ambassador Sacha Llorentty Soliz reminded those present that “we wouldn’t be sitting here today,” after seven years of war in Syria, had it not been for the 2003 invasion of Iraq and regime-change policies that have sowed chaos in the Middle East. China’s Ambassador Liu Jieyi told Wilson to his face that his statements were “not to be tolerated…don’t hold water,” and that Britain should stop “abusing the Security Council” and “refrain from such actions.” More than anything else, Syria requires a political settlement, he warned. The major urgent priority right now, he said, is strengthening counterterrorism.

Wilson had argued that Tuesday’s chemical attack in Idlib was the direct “consequence” of the Russian and Chinese vetos of earlier anti-Syrian resolutions. He went so far as to absolve terrorists of any responsibility, proclaiming that the Idlib attack “doesn’t look like the work of terrorists. We’ve seen nothing to suggest that non-state actors have this capability… Only one Air Force”—Syria’s—has used these weapons before. He then challenged Russia: “What is your plan? We had a plan, and you blocked it. Stop blocking and start helping! We expect your unanimous support.”

Looking directly at Wilson, Russia’s Deputy acting UN envoy Vladimir Zafronkov stated that yes, Russia does have a plan: to combat terrorism. As for the UK, it is “irresponsible,” he said. “Have you taken any responsibility in Syria? No, you don’t. You’re obsessed with regime change. You’re trying to get the UN Security Council to grant you the cover of legitimacy for your illegitimate actions,” he charged. The British ambassador, he said, has gone beyond all diplomatic norms, and his charges against Russia and China are unacceptable. “I would have thought that the diplomatic service of the UK would have long ago abandoned these tactics,” Zafronkov said.

Still addressing Wilson, the Russian envoy said there is no need for “your resolution” to be passed. Earlier resolutions allow for a thorough investigation by the Fact-Finding Mission (FFM), but the latter needs support, staff, and membership with a broader geographical representation, which it currently lacks. While chemical terrorism increases in Syria, he warned, the UNSC has failed to take any meaningful action. It has remained indifferent.

President Donald Trump will be meeting with Xi Jinping on Thursday and Friday in Florida, and it has now been announced that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will go to Moscow next week, on April 11-12. The potential for a historic shift in the order of civilization — ending imperial geopolitics, beginning a new paradigm of peace through development and the ennoblement of all mankind — has never been as great as it is at this moment in history.

It should come as no surprise, therefore, that the British Empire has launched desperate measures aimed at dragging the United States into a new colonial war, as they did in the cases of Vietnam, Iraq, Libya — and now Syria. The intention is not merely to destroy yet another Southwest Asian nation, but to prevent their upstart former colony known as the United States from forming a partnership with Russia and China, ending the fundamental imperial division of the world between East and West, and thus ending the fundamental premise of Empire.

To that end, an atrocity was created in Syria this week, as chemical weapons were released in the town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib Province, either by terrorists, or, as the Russian evidence indicates, a legitimate Syrian air attack on an al-Qaeda weapons depot which accidentally uncovered and destroyed a chemical weapon factory used by al Qaeda’s Syrian branches, releasing a deadly agent which is reported to have killed dozens of people, including children.

Immediately, the British, French and, unfortunately, the U.S., issued a resolution to the UN Security Council declaring the Syrian Government fully responsible and demanding a set of new demands and sanctions. As usual, no evidence was presented.

It should be recalled that in 2013, a chemical weapons attack on Ghouta, a suburb of Damascus held be rebels forces, was immediately blamed on President Assad, and was used by Obama to prepare a full scale military “regime change” assault on Syria, which would have left Syria in the same destroyed condition as Iraq and Libya, under the control of warring terrorist factions. Only because then U.S. Chief of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey intervened to stop it did the world avoid another war, which could well have led to a global war with Russia. At that time, Putin stepped in to arrange the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons stocks, which was accomplished. It was eventually shown by the UN’s Organization for Prevention of Chemical Weapons that the al-Qaeda and ISIS forces do indeed have chemical weapons and the means to produce them, and have in fact used them. Were the British to succeed in dragging President Trump into a war today, despite Trump’s repeated pledges that there would be no more regime change wars and that the U.S. would work with Russia to address the actual threat — that of terrorism — there is no question but that it would quickly lead to World War III, and a thermonuclear war at that.

In the UN Security Council meeting today, both Russia and China, this time backed up by Bolivia, not only vetoed the insane US/UK/French resolution, but directly addressed the British Ambassador to the UN as a liar and a war-mongerer. In typical British fashion, the Ambassador had blamed Russia and China for vetoing earlier efforts to launch a war on Assad’s Syria as the reason that the new chemical attack had taken place, lying that it was obvious that this new atrocity was done by Assad. “Your statements are not to be tolerated,” the Chinese Ambassador said. “You must stop abusing the UN Security Council and refrain from such action.” The Russian representative accused the British of “introducing provocations, beyond diplomatic norms. You want the UN Security Council to provide legitimacy for your illegitimate plans.”

Will the Tony Blair/George Bush lies, which launched the perpetual Hell in the Mideast with their illegal war on Iraq in 2003, be repeated today? Will the huge potential for peace and development through global cooperation in the New Silk Road be snuffed out by yet another British attrocity, with American duplicity in the evil of “perfidious Albion?”

We are at a crucial turning point in history. It is precisely the willingness to act by every cognizant human being in this moment of decision which will determine if we have war or peace, destruction or development, civilization or a new Dark Age.

The fate of civilization could well be determined this week, as President Donald Trump is standing firm against the “color revolution” being waged against the United States by the British Empire and their stooges in the failed Obama Administration, and, at the same time, is preparing an historic summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, where he could, and must, officially join the New Silk Road.

The British imperial division of the world into warring blocs — none more important for the survival of their vile Empire than “East vs. West”— would collapse under a Trump partnership with China to cooperate on the development of the nations of the world through China’s One Belt-One Road, and a partnership with Russia to defeat the terrorist scourge, a creation of London and their Saudi monarchical allies.

Following the terrorist bombing of a St. Petersburg subway Monday, Trump called President Vladimir Putin, offering “the full support of the United States Government in responding to the attack and bringing those responsible to justice,” according to the White House. “Both President Trump and President Putin agreed that terrorism must be decisively and quickly defeated,” the readout said.

Thursday and Friday, the President will meet with Xi Jinping in his Florida residence. Both sides are reported to have carefully planned the summit — both sides want a successful meeting, and both sides intend to end the geopolitical “zero-sum” approach to global diplomacy, replacing it with win-win cooperation to address the common aims of mankind. As Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told the Chinese during his visit last month to arrange this week’s summit, the US-China relationship in the Trump Administration would be “a very positive relationship built on no confrontation, no conflict, mutual respect, and always searching for win-win solutions”. This was a direct reflection of Xi Jinping’s 2012 call for building a “new type of major country relationship” between China and the U.S., based on “no conflict, no confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation,” a proposal totally rejected by President Obama, who proceeded instead to prepare for a military confrontation with China.

The British/Obama/media effort to blame Russia for the failure of the Hillary Clinton campaign, and to accuse Trump of being a Russian patsy, is increasingly being ridiculed, while the crimes of Obama and his corrupt intelligence team can no longer be concealed. The former Deputy Director for Intelligence for U.S. Central Command, Col. James Waurishuk, responding to the exposure of Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice’s role in using the intelligence community to spy on the Trump campaign, saying: “We’re looking at a potential constitutional crisis from the standpoint that we used an extremely strong capability that’s supposed to be used to safeguard and protect the country, and we used it for political purposes by a sitting president. That takes on a new precedent.”

Trump also addressed the Building Trades Unions legislative conference in Washington DC today, inspiring them to take responsibility for the “once thriving cities marred by empty lots and once booming industrial towns that have become rusted and are in total disrepair.” He continued: “Standing before me today, in this very hall are the men and women who if given the chance can transform these communities. You are the citizens who can rebuild our cities, revive our industries and renew our beloved country, and I know you will stop at nothing to get the job done.”

The British Empire is crumbling, but are they deploying their forces, with a sense of total desperation, to bring down the United States of America, to preserve their “divide and conquer” control of the world on behalf of their bankrupt financial empire. For the United States, China and Russia to join together on behalf of all mankind would mean the end of Empire, perhaps forever.

The ideas introduced and disseminated over the past fifty years by the movement founded by Lyndon LaRouche — for peace through development, for restoring the American System of Hamiltonian creditary economics, for ending the cultural swamp of “sex, drugs and rock and roll” in favor of a new renaissance of classical culture and science — are now close to realization. We cannot fail history at this great moment.

In an article published Tuesday in Consortium News, former intelligence professionals Ray McGovern and William Binney issue what is, in effect, a policy statement: In order to force into the open the illegal activities of the “Deep State,” of intelligence officials engaged in constant surveillance of all elected officials, key appointees of the government, and of course Trump’s campaign team, President Trump and Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, must not back down.

Trump’s response, in particular, is crucial, they warn. Will he choose the road less traveled by?

“His choice may decide whether there is a future for this constitutional republic.”

The issue, they assert, was never wiretapping but surveillance. Wiretapping is passe, so when Trump used that term, the intelligence agencies could self-righteously claim they never did such a thing. But, “were Trump and his associates surveilled? Wake up America…the reality is that everyone, including the President, is surveilled.” The fear these surveillance capabilities strike in the hearts of U.S. government officials, was reflected in Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) warning to MSNBC TV host Rachel Maddow, that the intelligence agencies “have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you” if you dare buck them.

In the House Intelligence Committee hearing March 20, much to the discomfort of FBI director Comey, Rep. Nunes—MgGovern and Binney note he has a healthy independent streak—zeroed in on the “dragnet” deployed by intelligence agencies to pick up communications by Trump’s advisors and then “unmask” the names before leaking them to the media. After appealing to anyone with knowledge of this to come forward, Nunes got a call from an intelligence source on March 21 while riding in his car, and went to the Old Executive Office Building, where he was shown the intercepts’ intelligence.

According to informed sources, Nunes’ source was someone in a position to know that former DNI director James Clapper and former CIA head John Brennen used the British spy agency GCHQ for surveillance purposes. McGovern and Binney note that Nunes didn’t take this information to ranking committee member Adam Schiff (D-CA), but rather directly to the President, even though this involved “a high political cost.” The real threat isn’t from the Democrats, they underscore, but from the “Deep State actors” waging war on the Presidency.

Speaking with the Fox News program “Tucker Carlson Tonight” March 28, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), warned that the person who leaked details of Gen. Michael Flynn’s phone calls with Russian ambassador Kislyak had broken the law.

“That’s the felonious dissemination of classified material,” Gowdy emphasized.

Defending Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Gowdy said that his colleague has acted exactly as a chairman should.

“When you have a source that has information, you handle that information safely, securely, which is exactly what he did.” Nunes’s point is, he said, “I want to know whether or not other people have been unmasked—even though you don’t know about it publicly yet.” Gowdy took aim at FBI Director James Comey, whom he criticized for not revealing whether the Bureau is investigating the Flynn leak. The issues of Trump’s ties to Russia, and leaking of Flynn’s [or others’] names, are “both in the national interest,” Gowdy told Carlson. “One happens to be a felony, so I was a little surprised and a little disappointed that [comey] can’t at least tell us [that] `We are investigating a felonious dissemination of classified material.'”

As for those calling for Rep. Nunes to recuse himself or step down, Gowdy told The Weekly Standard that “Jesus would not be a satisfactory chairperson to some of my Democratic colleagues. They would complain about his hair… I did this for 20 years. I’ve never met a defense attorney who didn’t complain about the prosecutor, usually when they don’t have good facts. This is a factual investigation.”

Sources cited by Fox News say that the FBI is not cooperating with the House investigation, unlike the NSA. A source close to the House investigation told Fox that leaks from the foreign surveillance transcripts that reference Flynn, “could have come from the FBI.” Moreover, multiple sources suggest that “British Intelligence also passed along information to U.S. intelligence agencies.”

Note, that today, Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano returned to the air, nine days’ after being “fired”; he stuck to his story that three sources had told him the Obama White House asked British Intelligence GCHQ to conduct surveillance of Trump’s transition team, and that it was done.

The grounds for optimism in the United States are huge, as most vividly demonstrated in President Trump’s beautiful call to return to space in his March 25 Weekly Address.

Yet every time Americans turn around, a new dirty operation is stirred up feeding the British “color revolution” against the Trump Administration!

What to do? When in doubt, go after the FBI!

Lyndon LaRouche said today, when briefed on the latest news of the mess, “The FBI is no damn good. It’s obvious; it doesn’t need an argument.” Though the FBI is probably reduced in its capacity, “It’s still a bad factor.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is an evil, treasonous organization which for more than 70 years has operated on behalf of Wall Street financiers and the British empire. The Trump Presidency was elected by American voters to crush that empire. To ensure that effort succeeds, that the American Republic and its Hamiltonian System of Economics flourishes, the FBI national gestapo must be crushed.

What Americans are facing is an unceasing stream of contrived “scandals,” fabricated according to the simple formula: 1) make accusations against Trump and his colleagues, over associations with Russia; and 2) assert that Russia is the evil enemy. The m.o. is embodied in a headline last night by CNN, a leader of the pack, which stated, “The Darkening Storm Over Russia, Is Now Looming Over Trump’s Circle.”

The latest accusation in this hokum is against Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, for having met Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak twice during the transition to Trump’s inauguration, and for meeting with a representative of Russian state-owned development bank, Vnesheconombank. You are supposed to think this is despicable. Kushner immediately joined the growing ranks of those demanding to testify to Congress to set the record straight. He even volunteered to go before the Senate Select Intelligence Committee hearing Thursday, which is otherwise set to be a circus, on the topic, “Disinformation: A Primer on Russian Active Measures and influence Campaigns.”

Even so, the color revolution crowd is targeting Intelligence Committee leaders themselves. Today’s pre-planned House Intelligence Committee closed-door session could not take place, because the witnesses, FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Michael Rogers, said they have a scheduling problem.

Yesterday House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) came under fierce attack. He was asked to either resign or be replaced in his position by a gang including Democrats, Sen. Charles Schumer (NY), and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA) and many Republicans. Among the witch-hunt charges made against Nunes is
the non-starter that he, last Tuesday, arranged to read classified intelligence documents, then the next day, briefed the President. In reality, Nunes is doing his job. He is pursuing the trail of how intelligence officials revealed—”unmasked”—Lt. Gen. (ret.) Michael Flynn, who was spied upon in the course of U.S. surveillance of foreign individuals. Nunes’s accusers say, Nunes is ‘not fair’ to pursue this.

However, this week Nunes is continuing his pursuit, and requesting that these very same intelligence documents be made available for his fellow Congressmen to read. EIR has been told by an independent source that, indeed, someone present at the NSA/intelligence meeting, where it was decided to commit the illegal unmasking of Flynn, did in fact leak, i.e. blow the whistle, on the crime.

On the Senate side, Charles Grassley (R-IA) is going to the heart of the beast—the FBI and the British. Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Grassley revealed yesterday the contents of his March 24 letter to the dirt-for-hire outfit, Fusion GPS. This is the Washington, D.C.-based firm, that sub-contracted with a British intelligence firm, to produce dirt against Trump. Fusion contracted with the London-based Orbis Business Intelligence, which is the creation (in 2009) of two so-called ex-MI-6 agents, Christopher Steele and Christopher Burrows (who have both gone underground). They produced the 2016 “dodgy dossier” on Trump.

Grassley is demanding, by April 7, all the details about how Fusion was involved with Orbis, Steele and the FBI, and before that, how Fusion worked for the Hillary Clinton Democrats, and before that worked for anti-Trump Republicans. This shows British and FBI interference in U.S. elections, to the hilt.

Grassley’s letter goes after the FBI involvement, saying, “When political opposition research becomes the basis for law enforcement or intelligence efforts, it raises substantial questions about the independence of law enforcement and intelligence from politics…”

We do have a Presidency in the United States, and that’s the take off point for action. Go after the FBI! Put the criminals in jail!

We do have a Presidency in the United States, and that’s the take off point for action. Go after the FBI! Put the criminals in jail!

Forty eight hours after the Weekly Address by President Donald Trump, inspiring America to restore our nation’s lost dedication to expanding human knowledge of the Universe and of life itself, that historic broadcast remains virtually unreported in the American media. Not even mentioned in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times, or on the major TV and radio networks. Instead, the media is full of stories that Trump is “failing” because a (deeply flawed) health bill was defeated, with McCarthyite hysteria about Russia stealing the US election, and even recurring references to the “smell of treason hanging over the Trump Administration.”

This is nonsense on one level. But it also is occurring as a slew of subversive “color revolutions,” like that being carried out against the Trump Administration, are showing up across Europe—in the Balkans, in Belarus (with direct support from the neo-nazi brigades in Ukraine), and most importantly, in Russia, where the Soros-linked Sergei Navalny has activated a few thousand demonstrators to provoke a few arrests to be turned into headlines around the world.

And, equally important, the recent adoption by President Trump of a call for a return to the “American System,” something almost exclusively identified in recent decades with Lyndon LaRouche, has been given the same treatment by the mainsteam media. The columnist who goes by the name of Virgil on the Breitbart website, which was previously headed by Trump’s Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, has issued two powerful reports, one on Trump’s visit to Michigan this month Donald Trump, Rosie the Riveter, and the Revival of American Economic Nationalism, and a second on Trump’s call for restoring the American System

Virgil notes that these speeches by the President raised “arguably the most important economic-policy idea in U.S. history,” and yet, “There was no mention of it in Politico, nor the Washington Post, nor in The New York Times, nor on CNN.” The lies spread as facts by the sophists at these British and Wall Street controlled media outlets are repulsive and destructive, but not nearly as destructive as the effort to convey to the mass of Americans (and others) that the unfolding economic and moral transformation of our nation, and potentially the world, are even taking place. Imagine Jack Kennedy’s call for man to go to the Moon “not because it is easy, but because it is hard,” being blacked out of the U.S. media. This treatment is well known to Lyndon LaRouche, whose formative roll in both these scientific and economic innovations is obvious to all who know him, but has been systematically kept from most of the American people for fifty years, as a conscious, openly declared policy of the so-called mainstream media.

But that capacity to impose mind control on the population through the media is being broken. A President who addresses the population directly, and refuses to bend to the myth that “popular opinion,” as defined by the media, must be worshiped, has now assumed office. It is far from clear that he will be successful, but the potential is great if the population rises to the occasion. Lyndon LaRouche, for one, believes that Trump knows what he is talking about.

Lyndon LaRouche has always insisted that “popular opinion” and “being practical” are the greatest enemies of mankind, and of creativity in particular. In this time of revolutionary change, in the tradition of Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin Roosevelt, the new paradigm is fully attainable. The world is turning to China’s New Silk Road process, marking the end of zero-sum “geopolitics” under the British Empire, which has dominated modern history since at least 1900. The notion of a global Renaissance—in science, the arts, and political economy—is the necessary and sufficient mission now before us all.
