“How long will it take before the whole thing blows?! That’s the question.” This was Mr. LaRouche’s response to the developments surrounding the upcoming U.K referendum vote for leaving the European Union (the so-called “Brexit”). Tonight’s webcast will present Mr. LaRouche’s up to the hour assessment of the rapidly-developing world situation. The panic—and murder—surrounding the Brexit vote is simply a part of the on-going breakdown of the trans-Atlantic financial, economic, and political system. Mr. LaRouche called out the reality of the situation: the United States—under Obama—and the U.K. are the least stable points in this process, if you stick to Obama you will lose; if you stick to this financial system, you will lose; only a complete rejection of all the fake value in this speculative system, and a return to a Hamiltonian conception of physical value can work. LaRouche PAC’s Matthew Ogden, Jason Ross, Dave Christie, and Megan Beets are joined by EIR’s Jeffrey Steinberg to deliver tonight’s webcast.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, running from June 16-18, offers an extraordinary view of where the world is going very soon, if Obama is prevented from blowing it up first.  It links together Europe, Eurasia, and every part of Asia, as well as Africa and South America.

As we have noted, Europe is heavily represented despite the sanctions.  Italian Prime Minister Renzi is meeting with Putin and is present with a very high-level business delegation, which is reported to have signed $1.4 billion in agreements with Russia.  EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is there, as are former French President Sarkozy and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.  Six leaders of big German firms are speaking in a panel on German-Russian cooperation, along with EU Commissioner Gunther Oettinger; Germany’s top Russia expert, Alexander Rahr, is featured on another panel.  A panel on Russia-Switzerland cooperation includes top corporate officials and an official of the Swiss Foreign Ministry; this occurs just as the Swiss government is moving to withdraw the nation’s 1992 application to join the EU, after a vote to that effect by both houses of the Swiss Parliament.

Some top Chinese businessmen are featured in the opening panels on the Group of 20 and another panel on China’s “New Economic Model.”  A Russia-Africa panel includes the President of Guinea and ministers from four other African nations.  A Russia-Japan panel includes six senior business executives and a vice-minister.  A Panel “Russia-India: A New Stage in Economic Partnership,” includes four top Indian executives.  There are two panels on Russia-Latin America cooperation, which together represent most South American nations.  There is a BRICS panel with businessmen from every member nation; a Eurasian Economic Union panel; and a panel of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Business Forum.  An Iran panel is titled “Life After Sanctions: Re-Integrating Iran into the Global Economy.”

The final panel is on “Russia-Bangladesh: An Era of New Opportunities.”

The principal US representative in St. Petersburg is the Chairman-CEO of ExxonMobil.

The leading Swiss news daily Neue Zürcher Zeitung has a full-page article on the 28 pages, noting in its subhead that the investigation of the Saudi role in 9/11 “has reached a turning point.” Apart from some twists, the article, authored by the daily’s Washington correspondent, Peter Winkler, reports mostly objectively on the fact that Osama bin Laden himself, the head of al-Qaeda, maintained connections into Saudi Arabia even at the time he was expelled from his country, and that the modern jihadist movement as such from which al-Qaeda emerged, was raised with active and generous support inclusively from Saudi Arabia.

Winkler sides more, however, with the FBI in seeing no evidence of terrorist support in the case of the wealthy Saudi family who resided in Sarasota, Florida, where one of the four 9/11 cells was based, before abruptly leaving the United States immediately before 9/11, but he adds that Sen. Bob Graham is firmly convinced that there was a Saudi role and that the FBI covered it up. Even more explosive than Graham’s own efforts are, in Winkler’s view, those of former Sen. Mike Gravel, who may repeat his 1971 coup of reading the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record by using his privileges as a then-member of the Senate, which was upheld by the Supreme Court in 1972.

The related Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) issue is likewise explosive, Winkler writes, because apart from Obama’s announcement that he would veto the legislation — which would allow the 9/11 victims and their families to sue Saudi Arabia for its involvement — there are strong concerns in the United States that this law, once passed, would inspire similar legislation in other countries, triggering trials against members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Winkler concludes by voicing doubts that the Congressional Democrats would dare to override Obama’s veto. Furthermore, he believes that a summary of the 28 pages, as opposed to the full chapter, will be published in the end, modelled on the example of the report on the CIA torture practices.

The NZZ article reflects the fact that many concerned Swiss citizens have shown intense interest in the 28 pages issue—similarly evidenced by the circulation, in considerable numbers in the recent weeks in Switzerland, of the special brochure produced by the EIR Wiesbaden office.

Today, a resolution was introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives, to mandate that Congress de-classify the 28 pages of the 2002 Congressional Inquiry into 9/11, and publish them in the Congressional Record—without interference from the Obama Administration. The new House Resolution 779 is sponsored by Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.), originator of an earlier resolution (now with 70 co-sponsors)—calling for the Executive Branch to de-classify the 28 pages.

The new resolution states that, “Senator Graham has described this 28-page chapter as a ‘smoking gun’ that implicates Saudi Arabia in financing Saudi nationals complicit in the 9/11 international terrorist murders while residing in San Diego…” and much more on the Saudi involvement, and the cover-up by the Bush and Obama Administrations. It states that, “The declassification and disclosure of this 28-page chapter might prompt Congress to alter the foreign policy of the United States toward Saudi Arabia…”

This Congressional initiative is the latest hit against the Anglo-Saudi war and terror machine, under whose aegis the Florida mass shooting was perpetrated last weekend. And for whom, Obama, FBI Director James Comey, and CIA Director John Brennan are lying their heads off.

The provenance of the Anglo-Saudi evil alignment is documented in a newly-released LaRouchePAC statement, “You Have the Keys To Stop the Terror Wave: Use Them!” It provides essential history, going back to the 1985 “Al Yamamah” (The Dove) filthy deal struck between the kingdoms of Britain and Saudi Arabia, to exchange oil for arms sales, and create a huge fund for dirty operations.

The deadly Orlando incident is just such an affair. Look behind all the “chatter.” The shooter, with an unstable identity to begin with, was run through the British security firm G4S, two stays in Saudi Arabia, works in California and Florida (states where the 9/11 operatives were pre-staged), and all the while is protected by the FBI. The facade of credibility is gone.

Lyndon LaRouche spoke out on this today, calling on people to “take targets” and act fast. Use everything we have against this, and bring it down. He said of the Florida atrocity, that it was “a highly staged operation, not convincing at all.” They tried “to pull something off that didn’t work.” Their operation is collapsing.

Obama officials are exposing their own involvement by their very own words. Obama said Monday, that the Orlando massacre was from “domestic terrorism,” stemming from easy-access weapons, and vulnerability of weak persons to radicalization in cyberspace. FBI Director James Comey then lied in tandem. Last weekend, CIA Director John Brennan proclaimed that the 28 pages are passe, and Saudi Arabia has done no wrong.

More on the 28 Pages

LaRouche summed up this fraud: “The guiltiness—the guilt of the government—is shown in their own opinions.” In fact, the impact of people seeing this, is itself a new shock wave. The first shock came from the mass murders. Now, a second shock comes from the blatancy of the Obama lies.

Saudi royalty itself is frantically running around the U.S. this week. Look at the itinerary of visiting Dep. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Last night, he dined with Sec. of State John Kerry. Today, he meets with National Intelligence Director James Clapper and CIA Chief Brennan. Tomorrow on Capitol Hill, with House leaders Paul Ryan (R) and Nancy Pelosi (D); Friday, at the Norfolk Naval Base, with Defense Sec. Ash Carter; thence to Manhattan, to Wall Street and to U.N. Sec. Gen Ban Ki-Moon; and finally off to Silicon Valley. Where is Obama? Ducking. The White House today refused to confirm whether there is a meeting with the prince.

Omar Mateen, the man accused in the shooting deaths of 49 people and wounding of 53 others at an Orlando night club for gays, had previously amicably worked and socialized with lesbians and homosexuals while on the job at a local restaurant. He later became radicalized, visiting Saudi Arabia twice, all while working for a global British security conglomerate.

Having been born and raised in New York, Mateen received “an associate degree in criminal justice technology” from Indian River State College in Florida, in 2006, according to the New York Times, with the intent of going into law enforcement. At that time, Mateen was described as a “jokester,” someone who “always had a smile on his face.” Samuel King, who went to high school with Mateen, couldn’t believe it was the same person he knew. He was a jokester and at the time didnt have an issue with the LGBT community, King posted on his Facebook page today. “He might’ve even sat down at the bar and had a drink and laughed with the bartenders, knowing that they were lesbians,” he added.

In 2007, Mateen got a job at G4S security company, as a guard at a local, gated housing community. According to a 2014 profile in Vanity Fair, G4S is a British company, third-largest private employer in the world, which, in addition to thousands of “lowly security agents,” also provides cover to high-level MI-6 geo-political subversions. In 2009, Mateen got married and bought a house. But, two years later, the marriage ended in divorce, with his wife complaining about beatings.

During this time Mateen became religious, if not “radicalized.” In 2011, and again in 2012, Mateen visited Saudi Arabia, for their annual Haj. When he came back, still an employee of G4S, Mateen quickly became the object of government surveillance, being picked up by the FBI in 2013, and again in 2014. In 2013, the FBI wanted to question him about “comments to co-workers suggesting he had terrorist ties, and again the next year, for possible connections to Moner Mohammad abu Salha, an American who became a suicide bomber in Syria,” FBI’s Ronald Hopper told the New York Times. Mateen attended the same mosque as suicide bomber Abu Salha, in his home town of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mateen also studied at the Fundamental Islamic Knowledge Seminary in Orlando, run by one Marcus Dwayne Robertson — himself an FBI informant. According to a profile in Fox News today, Robertson was a former Marine who became the leader of a criminal network of bank robbers in New York, called “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves.” Robertson was apparently arrested in 1991, but then became the “body guard to the Blind Sheik [Shaykh Omar Abdul Rahman] involved in the 1993 World Trade Center Attack,” only one of the numerous other points of FBI “control” in that operation. Robertson later served four years in prison, then again as informant from 2004 to 2007, “to document terrorist plans and networks in Africa, Egypt and the United States.” Now calling himself Abu Taubah, he re-surfaced in Florida and started his “Seminary,” where he preached against homosexuality.

A report in Sunday’s Florida Today quotes Daniel Gilroy, a recent co-worker of Mateen. “I quit because everything he said was toxic,” Gilroy said, “and the company [g4s] wouldn’t do anything. This guy was unhinged and unstable. He talked of killing people.”

It should be noted that Mateen purchased all of his guns legally, as needed for his job.

On the eve of Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s trip to Washington, CIA Director John Brennan announced, in effect, that he worked for the Saudi Royal Family.

In his extensive interview June 11 with Al-Arabiya TV News channel, Brennan attacked Iran as the most important terrorist threat to the Mideast, while offering slobbering praise for King Salman and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as the United States’ strongest partners “in this fight against terrorism.” He told his interviewer, “We have excellent cooperation with Saudi Arabia. I have worked with my Saudi partners for many, many years. I served in Saudi Arabia for about 5 years and under the leadership of the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef, who is also the Minister of the Interior. Over the past 15 years, the Saudis have become among our best counterterrorism partners.”

The last 15 years? Does that include Sept. 11, 2001?

Absolving the Saudis of any complicity in that horrific 2001 attack, Brennan reported that he continues to be very concerned about “Iran’s support for terrorist activities and terrorist groups … inside Iraq, Syria and the other countries throughout the region.” Calling Iran a “state sponsor of terrorism,” Brennan pontificated that it “still has a long way to go before I’m going to be convinced that they are interested in countering and destroying terrorism.” He added that he has “zero” contact with his Iranian counterparts.

While giving lip service to the need for negotiations to resolve the Syrian crisis, Brennan complained that Russia is not doing enough to use its “influence inside of Syria to encourage a transition away from the Bashar al-Assad regime.” Russia really “holds the key” as to whether Assad goes, Brennan asserted, again adding how “disappointed” he is that Russia isn’t doing more to “bring this conflict to a close.” Lawfully, Brennan charged that Assad is responsible for the growth of terrorism and extremism in Syria. “He needs to depart the scene.”

The mass murder rampage in Orlando, Florida by alleged Islamic State follower Omar Mateen—like the September 11, 2001 attacks—is but the latest in a series of horrific terrorist attacks which flow from a thirty-year-old oil for weapons deal between the British and Saudi monarchies—the Al Yamamah agreement. A deal which created today’s global jihadist apparatus as a covert warfare operation for destabilizing rival nations, with Russia and China as the leading targets. Tune in live at 1 pm eastern for our weekly Policy Committee discussion. Today Lyndon LaRouche declared that Obama and British empire are fully responsible for the horrific terrorist attack in Florida. It has been a decades long, British policy to create these terrorist, irregular warfare operations—the exact apparatus which ran 9/11—and it has been Obama’s policy to cover-up, protect, and support this operation. There is no longer any choice, Obama must be removed, or this process could rapidly escalate to global thermonuclear war.

CIA Director John Brennan said yesterday that he “believes” that the classified 28 pages of the Congressional Joint Inquiry on 9/11 will be released soon, and “that is good,” in an interview on Al Arabiya TV, which is owned by Saudi broadcaster Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC). Brennan’s interview was covered by CNN-TV and RT in Russia. This is the first-ever interview with Arab media by the CIA.

Brennan’s announcement represents the Obama Administration’s realization that the demands by American citizens for the release of the pages, pointing to Saudi funding of 9/11 which killed 2,986 people in Manhattan, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pa., could no longer be stonewalled.

Brennan interview reports that Obama will now fall back to the 2004 9/11 Commission Report to discredit the 2002 Report of Congress. Brennan told Al Arabiya:

“These so-called ’28 pages’ were part of the Joint Inquiry which were published in 2002, which was just a year after 9/11, and was a very preliminary review — just trying to piece together bits and pieces of who was responsible for 9/11. Subsequently, the 9/11 Commission looked very thoroughly at the allegations of Saudi involvement — and their finding, their conclusion, was there was no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution, or Saudi officials individually, had supported the attacks.

“So, these ’28 pages,’ I believe they are going to come out; I believe they should come out, but people shouldn’t take them as evidence of Saudi complicity in the attack. Indeed, I think subsequent reviews and assessments that have been done show that it was very, very unfortunate, but that it was indeed the work of al-Qaeda, bin Laden, Zawahiri, and others of that ilk.”

Former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, co-chair of the Congressional investigation which produced the Congressional Joint Report on 9/11, said in CBS News’ “60 Minutes” on May 10 that it is impossible that 15 Saudis who did not speak English, or have experience living in the West, could maintain themselves and take flying lessons without a network of support. This network was funded substantially by the Saudis.

This news service has learned that more than 100 Congressmen have read the 28 pages and know what they contain. In addition, H.Res.14, calling for release of the 28 pages, introduced by Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC), has 69 co-sponsors, and Senate Bill 1471 is its companion bill in the U.S. Senate.

The following is a grid of preliminary news reports on the mass murder in the Pulse night club in Orlando early Sunday morning. LaRouche mandated a careful investigation, putting reports together, looking at each piece in order to find a preliminary hypothesis, while looking at the whole from the top down. What is certain is that what Senator Graham said in the press conference on the 28 pages in the U.S. Congress, on the day of the Charlie Hebdo terror attack on Jan. 7, 2015, holds true today: If the 28 pages had been released, this incident would not have happened.

* CNN: The shooter, Omar Saddiqui Mateen, is 29 and from Fort Pierce, Fla., about 120 miles southeast of Orlando. He is American born of Afghan parents. He had been trained as a security guard. He used a pistol and an assault rifle to kill 50 people and wound 53 others in the Pulse nightclub, a popular gay club in Orlando.

* Mateen possessed a Security Officer license in Florida, and a Statewide Firearms License in Florida allowing a concealed weapon.

* In 2007, Mateen graduated with an associate degree of science from Indian River State College. He had worked for G4S, a security company. His ex-wife said that at one point Mateen worked as a guard at a nearby facility for juvenile delinquents.

* Orlando Sentinel: Mateen was interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and 2014, FBI Assistant Special Agent Ronald Hopper told reporters Sunday. FBI learned of him in 2013 after he made inflammatory remarks to co-workers and alleged terrorist ties, said FBI Special Agent In Charge Ron Hopper. The FBI investigated and interviewed witnesses and Mateen, but closed the investigation. He came to the FBI’s attention again in 2014 for making contact with a suicide bomber. FBI determined their connection was minimal and closed the investigated “Those interviews turned out to be inconclusive, so there was nothing to keep the investigation going,” Hopper said. Mateen was not under investigation at the time of Sunday’s shooting and was not under surveillance, Hopper said.

* In the past two weeks Mateen legally purchased a Glock pistol, found at the shooting scene.

* Mateen called 911 around the time of the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS and mentioned the Boston bombers, according to a U.S. official.

* ISIS has not claimed responsibility, but websites connected to ISIS have praised the attacks.

* Mateen’s parents were born in Afghanistan.

* Washington Post: Dozens of YouTube videos show Seddique Mateen, the father of the gunman, extolling the Afghan Taliban and most recently, announcing his run for president of Afghanistan. In a Facebook video posted hours before the shooting, he seems to pretend he already is the president of Afghanistan and orders the arrest of Afghan leaders.

* The father gave an interview to NBC News on Sunday morning apologizing for his son. He said his son, Omar Mateen, was angry when he saw men kissing in Miami several months ago, but that he wasn’t aware of any action he has taken.

* Mateen’s ex-wife said he was mentally unstable and beat her repeatedly while they were married. The woman first met Mateen online in 2009 and came to Florida to marry him, but he was abusive and her family saved her after only a few months. “He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.” They formally divorced in 2011. She told the Washington Post she has not had contact with Mateen since she left.

* Washington Post: After the couple split, a friend of Mateens said the young man became steadily more religious. The friend, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Mateen several years ago went on the pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia known as the umrah.

OTHER RELATED ISSUES:

*  On the morning of the attack, Obama’s killer partner John Brennan told the press that the 28 pages would likely be released but that no one should believe them and that the Saudi connections were subsequently proven false.

* The 80,000 pages of FBI documents on the Saratoga case, still under review by a Florida judge, could reflect relevant information on the Saudi/terror connections in Florida.

* Also on Sunday, authorities in West Hollywood, California, took a suspect into custody after discovering an arsenal in his car that included explosive powder, assault weapons and a camouflage outfit, CNN affiliate KABC reported, citing unnamed authorities. The suspect told authorities he was there for the Los Angeles Pride festival, which is underway this weekend. There was no indication that the arrest was related to the Orlando attack.

* Obama’s speech on the attack called it terrorism and a hate crime, but only repeated his cover story that we need to ban guns: “This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well.” As he knew, Mateen had the guns legally.

* Obama has repeatedly refused Putin’s offer to work together to defeat ISIS and al-Qaeda (Al Nusra) in Syria, refusing because several groups funded and trained by the CIA are working hand in hand with al-Qaeda.
