Louder With Crowder | We’re just one more day away from Halloween. Tiny costumed children skipping about. Michael Myers on the big screen. Sugar binges putting you a couple steps closer to a root canal.

The Daily Sheeple | The opioid epidemic is on the verge of reaching epic proportions if it hasn’t already.
Truth Revolt | “White male authors” to be replaced by “black and minority ethnic writers.”
I was recently invited to participate in a panel discussion over the subject of “free speech.” Among the subtopics on the agenda are those of the Confederate monument controversy and the relationship between free speech and “hate speech.” My schedule forced me to decline the invitation. However, even had this not been the case, I probably would’ve declined at any rate. The description of the discussion, you see, makes it clear that its organizers assume, first of all, that the distinction between “free speech” and “hate speech” is a meaningful one. In doing so, they presuppose as well the meaningfulness … Continue reading →

A 23-year-old ‘professional speedcuber’ has set a new world record by completing a Rubik’s Cube in just 4.59 seconds. Korean SeungBeom Cho solved the 3D puzzle in his first round at the World Cube Association’s ChicaGhosts 2017 event in Chicago, smashing his previous personal best of 6.54 seconds. Footage of Mr Cho’s attempt shows him given just a few seconds to examine the cube before starting, completing it just moments later. Excited spectators and fellow competitors rushed to his side as organisers took a few moments to confirm the result. The crowd erupted in cheers as Mr Cho got up … Continue reading →

Does anyone in the Trump Administration have a clue about our Syria policy? In March, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appeared to be finally pulling back from President Obama’s disastrous “Assad must go” position that has done nothing but prolong the misery in Syria. At the time, Tillerson said, the “longer-term status of President Assad will be decided by the Syrian people.” Those of us who believe in national sovereignty would say that is pointing out the obvious. Nevertheless it was a good sign that US involvement in Syria – illegal as it is – would no longer seek regime … Continue reading →

President Trump is in hot water for supposedly disrespecting the family of a slain U.S. soldier. Earlier this month, four U.S. soldiers were killed in an ambush by Islamic extremists/militants/terrorists/bad guys in the African country of Niger during a joint patrol by American and Niger forces. At a press conference over a week later, a reporter asked the president: “Why haven’t we heard anything from you so far about the soldiers that were killed in Niger? And what do you have to say about that?” The next day Trump called Myeshia Johnson, the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, one … Continue reading →

[This article is excerpted from An Austrian Perspective on the History of Economic Thought, vol. 1, Economic Thought Before Adam Smith.] Communist Zealots: the Anabaptists Sometimes Martin Luther must have felt that he had loosed the whirlwind, even opened the gates of Hell. Shortly after Luther launched the Reformation, various Anabaptist sects appeared and spread throughout Germany. The Anabaptists believed in predestination of the elect, but they also believed, in contrast to Luther, that they knew infallibly who the elect were: i.e., themselves. The sign of that election was in an emotional, mystical conversion process, that of being “born again,” baptized in the Holy … Continue reading →

EXPLOSIVE JFK files have revealed that Lee Harvey Oswald and his killer Jack Ruby met in the weeks before Kennedy was assassinated. The pair were seen together at Florida’s Key West airport in 1963 and were overheard speaking in code about “Big Bird”, according to the documents. They were part of a group of 30 or 40 “hippie looking” people who were on their way to Cuba to cut sugar cane, airport manager George Faraldo told investigators. This bombshell will shed new light on the truth behind JFK’s assassination and whether Oswald was to blame for the former president’s murder. Ruby, whose … Continue reading →

The west is turning more soviet every day, it seems. This post is based on a recent Jordan Peterson video: A Call to Rebellion for Ontario Legal Professionals. Professional licensing organizations are sold to the public as entities designed to ensure high-quality standards. They are nothing of the sort. They are gatekeepers, agents that work to limit supply such that they can secure higher prices for the services of their members. In other words, the mission is primarily economic. Well…welcome to the next chapter, courtesy of The Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC): All lawyers and paralegals play a vital role in Accelerating Culture Shift, one of … Continue reading →

“So the modern world may be increasing in technological knowledge, but, paradoxically, it is making things a lot more unpredictable.” – Nassim Nicholas Taleb, Antifragile: Things That Gain From Disorder You are hence fragile.” – Nassim Nicholas Taleb, Antifragile: Things That Gain From Disorder I had read Nassim Taleb’s other best-selling tomes about risk, randomness and black swans – Fooled by Randomness & The Black Swan. They were not easy reads, but they were must reads. He is clearly a brilliant thinker, but I like him more because he is a prickly skeptic who scorns and ridicules academics, politicians, and Wall Street scumbags with gusto. There were … Continue reading →
