Delta Flight Attendant Tells Black Female Doctor ‘We’re Looking for Actual Physicians’

‘Tamika Cross, a black physician, accused Delta Air Lines of discriminating against her last week after a flight attendant declined her offer to help an unresponsive passenger because the employee did not believe Cross was a doctor.
Cross took to Facebook last Sunday to share her story, telling her followers that despite her qualifications as an obstetrician and gynecologist the flight attendant refused to let her tend to the unresponsive man.
“Oh no, sweetie, put [your] hand down,” the flight attendant said, according to Cross. “We are looking for actual physicians or nurses or some type of medical personnel, we don’t have time to talk to you.”’
